"As a coach with a Master’s in Exercise Science and years of applied experience, I cut through the noise to deliver what actually works for you. I’ve built and grown gyms in New York and Texas before bringing that experience to Colorado. Now I’m bringing a long-time vision to life, building this performance facility in Woodland Park. My approach is shaped by both real-world results and my background as a collegiate football player and competitive strongman.

Every program is designed for longevity and peak performance, with intentional progression, ongoing assessment, and adjustments based on movement, readiness, and results. My approach to nutrition goes beyond calories and macros. While they matter, they’re just part of the picture. I focus on how food impacts your physiology to create sustainable, effective strategies tailored to you.

Scott Schultz: Elite Performance Coach

"Having personally experienced the challenges of injury and recovery, I am deeply committed to helping athletes train through safe, effective, and sustainable programs rooted in proper technique and long-term athletic development. Holding a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, my approach blends proven training methods with individualized attention, making these programs accessible for athletes of all levels.

I bring extensive experience in high school athletics, having served as a head coach across multiple sports, including football, basketball, and women’s fastpitch softball in addition to assistant coaching in track and wrestling. With 23 years as a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, I developed comprehensive training programs for athletes across a broad range of sports, as well as physical readiness programs for military personnel and first responders. My programs are designed with particular emphasis on strength and conditioning, injury mitigation, and return-to-sport protocols, applying my strong knowledge base in ACL and knee injury rehabilitation.

I am excited to bring my expertise, passion, and dedication to the Grit to Greatness community, where I can provide high-quality training and a positive, hard working environment for every athlete."

"As a Performance Coach, my focus is on helping you build strength and improve performance through training and nutrition. Every program is built around your individual goals, with an emphasis on developing a strong foundation and supporting long-term success.

I’m especially passionate about helping active girls and women build strength, confidence, and learn how to train and fuel their bodies for performance. I hold additional certifications focused on training and nutrition for women, and use science-based strategies to guide my approach.

In addition, I’ve worked with high-level athletes and been closely involved in competitive sports, giving me a strong understanding of what it takes to perform at the next level."
